Digital Archive of Ungulate and Carnivore Dentition

This digital archive consists of dental images of East African large mammals, specifically ungulates and carnivores. The archive includes most taxa of extant ungulates and carnivores currently inhabiting the East African region. The images were organized by taxonomy and keywords using Visual Catalogues software. The program has a search feature for retrieving images based on keywords.  The archive follows the hierarchical organization outlined below.

Jaws (Upper, Lower)
   - Family/Tribe
      - Genus
          - Species
             - Age group (Adult, Old, Juvenile)
                 - Sex
                    - Dental view (Buccal, Lingual, Occlusal, Jaw, Cheek)
