Rebecca Wragg Sykes is an archaeologist, writer, and creative professional. She has been fascinated with the past since childhood, and was especially drawn to the ancient world of the Palaeolithic. Her doctoral thesis was the first synthesis of evidence for late Neanderthals in Britain.
Her recently published first book is Kindred: Neanderthal Life, Love, Death, and Art. Join us as Sykes shares her work about how 21st century archaeology has led to a reimagining of Neanderthals and the worlds they lived in.
