Location: Hall of Human Origins, NMNH
Come meet Audrey Tjahjadi and talk to her about her research! Audrey is interested in human evolutionary genetics. Specifically, she is interested in how Homo sapiens interbred with other hominins, such as Neanderthals, and how those events have contributed to differences in the genes of modern day human populations. Audrey is currently a Master's student in the Center for the Advanced Study of Human Paleobiology at George Washington University.
The Scientist Is In program provides opportunities for museum visitors to have informal conversations with scientists, and is not a formal lecture program. Drop in and join the conversation.
