Come meet Howard's postdoctoral fellows Eve Boyle and Laura Martínez-Íñigo about The Visible Ape Project (VAP), a digital collection of anatomical illustrations, photographs, CT scans, MRIs, and 3D reconstructions of apes used as a resource to compare anatomical structures among the ape species in order to learn about the features unique to each ape, as well as the features apes share with humans.
The Scientist Is In program provides opportunities for museum visitors to have informal conversations with scientists, and is not a formal lecture program. Drop in and join the conversation.
