From 2015 to 2017, nineteen public libraries across the country displayed the exhibition “Exploring Human Origins” based on the Smithsonian’s Hall of Human Origins. Traveling to each community, the Museum’s Human Origins team introduced public audiences to the topic of human evolution. In a conversation moderated by exhibit curator Dr. Rick Potts, representatives from four of the libraries will discuss how this complex and challenging subject was received and celebrated in their communities.
